Hélisenne has been an ATER (Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche) in theatre studies at the University of Paris Nanterre and in German at Paris 8. When she teaches theatre at university, she gives courses on the history of theatre as well as on dramaturgy and initiation to acting.
As part of her teaching at Nanterre and then workshops at the FITMO festival, Hélisenne was invited to lead introductory sessions on acting and dramaturgy.
During the FITMO festival in Burkina Faso, she led workshops with Christolin Rodlin on the theme of "Arts and Violence". Many of the scenes were inspired by the life stories of actors confronted with violence in their daily lives and in their current events marked by terrorism.
Training supported by FITMO.
